Bachelor of Science, Keene State College
Rick started out at Clarity Connect as a designer but became interested in website development as a way to extend his design capability. He took a couple of classes and then worked closely with Sean Daniels to hone his skills. He is now our lead website developer and can 'lights-out' program.
Rick provides excellence in:
- ColdFusion (CFML) and Railo code devlopment
- HTML/CSS/Javascript
- jQuery and Scriptaculous libraries
- Building/writing/running mySQL databases and structures
- SEO principles and administration
- Variety of ecommerce merchant integrations including auth.net, linkpoint, payfuse, payjunction, virtualmerchant, etc.
- Building/implementing custom solutions for data syncronization and maintenance
Utilizing his knowledge of design techniques, color theory and cutting-edge technology, Rick has applied his skills to a wide variety of graphic media including brochures, newsletters, retail displays, trade show displays, web, and email-based campaigns.
Experienced in both Macintosh and PC environments, his cross-platform knowledge spans multiple design tools including Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator and Flash. Rick attained his Bachelor of Science in Graphic Design from Keene State College as well as a minor in art history.
Rick also possesses strong skills in the media of watercolor, oil, and pen and ink. The combination of electronic and traditional artistic design capabilities gives Rick an impressive "palette" to draw from to create truly unique solutions.
