Getting Started with Authorize.net

In order to implement tokenization for secure, online payment processing, you will need to use Authorize.net as your Gateway. To sign up for your account, please use this link, https://account.authorize.net/ui/themes/anet/oauth/PricingPage.aspx?resellerId=11442.

If you already have a merchant account, you can proceed with utilizing Authorize.net for the gateway only. Once your Authorize account is set up, you will need to login and enter in your Merchant ID (MID) and Terminal ID (ID) for your existing merchant account. That is what allows the funds to be deposited into your existing bank account.

If you need a merchant account, you can use one of your choice. If you don't have a preference, we recommend Atlantic Merchant Services, atlanticmerchant.com. This tends to get our customers better rates than they would otherwise.
