Clarity Console™ Tool Upgrades

There have been a number of Clarity Console tool upgrades completed recently. The overall goal is to make it easier for you to use the tools. 

Clarity Console™ Tool Upgrades

General Updates

Light Blue Text Boxes

All of the text fields that support text editing now have a light blue background instead of white. This was done primarily for the Slide Show Editor and Random Image Editor as the text entered in those tools is frequently overlayed on an image and it's common to need white text to display on a dark image (i.e. dark green foliage). The white text in the Clarity Console tool now displays easily for you to edit.

Moving Fields from USER DEFINED Tab

Frequently used fields like 'Friendly URL' and 'Sequence' have been moved from the USER DEFINED tab to the GENERAL tab of several tools.

Specific Tool Updates

Store Manager: Customer List

Three fields have been added to the GENERAL Tab:

• Customer Account Type:
   Retail Account      Wholesale Account
  This will be particularly helpful for our grower/grower retailer customers.
  
  
• Website URL
• Business Summary

Website URL and Business Summary will be automatically added when new customers complete the online wholesale application. Of course, you can add, edit and delete this information as needed directly in the Customer record.

Random Image Editor

Three fields have been moved to the GENERAL Tab:

• Call to Action URL
• Call to ActionButton Text
• Sequence 

Page Generator Editor

Two fields have been moved to the GENERAL Tab:

• Call to Action URL
• Call to ActionButton Text

Plant Database Manager: Breeder Editor

Two fields have been moved/added to the GENERAL Tab:

• Friendly URL
• Display on Home Page?

In some of our implementations, breeder logos are displayed on the home page. With this functionality, breeders can now be featured selectively on the home page.

Plant Database Manager: Categories Editor

One field has been moved to the GENERAL Tab:

• Friendly URL

Career Opportunities Editor

One field has been moved to the GENERAL Tab:

• Friendly URL

Locations Editor

Two fields have been moved to the GENERAL Tab:

• Friendly URL
• Sequence

Management & Employee Profiles Editor

One field has been moved to the GENERAL Tab:

• Display on Home Page Y/N?

For those of you who are displaying staff profiles on your home page, you can now select those that you want to feature on the home page by selecting Yes for this option.

Front-End Website Updates are NOT Automatic
